Gold $5000 dollars an ounce ?

Lots of stories around at the moment about where the long term price of gold may go.

In times of uncertainty gold always gets talked up, and as these times of uncertainty are currently global, then that could be a lot of interest.

Many experts are agreeing that the current price is fast approaching a bottom, but its the few outspoken ones that suggest $3000 – $5000 dollars an ounce that have grabbed my attention. Could the price really run that high ?
